FirstGen: Wu Dei

this is the second in my first generation series OC
his name is wu dei and he is the father of the male lead in my story.
Wu dei is a dog demon, and a rather strong one at that
but he isn't one of those war lords
he's quite tolerable of humans and demons alike

wu dei's personality:
-easygoing
-kind (to his friends)
-quite (only around his wife)
-thoughtful
wu dei enjoys:
-the wind and sunshine
-loves winter and the cold
-eating roasted deer, boar, bison, (any sort of herbavor)
-playing with kids
-laughing
-chinese checkers (Go as in Hirkaru no Go, not the starshaped gameboard where you try to get you marbels to the oppisite side)
-winter sports


odd things about him:
-you can't get him drunk
-he's particularly skilled in painting
-he reads a lot of human and demon and odd sorts of literature
- he knows sign language
-he can hold his breath for up to 10 minutes

his powers:
i'm only including this for him since wu dei is incredibly strong, mostly due to the sword he's holding
His sword plays a big role through out my story
its another one of those heirloom cliche's
but i enjoyed coming up with this sword
-the sword occasionally acts on its own accord
-theoretically it has no limitations in types of attacks, or special abilities
(if you wanted the sword to spew magic flames it could
if you wanted it to grow a chain, it will, if you really wanted it to turn into a cannon, or even a gun, it could do that) for e.g. wudei once used his sword to summon an army of souls
although, powers depends on the users will power, imagination, and soul

- the main reason that sword can do that stuff is the fact that is holds countless souls, most of them are wu dei's ancestors, many of them are souls that the past sword bearers trapped themselves

-sword history:
the family dosn't know how old the sword is, or where is came form, who forged it
that informations been lost in time
but the sword has been stolen, lost, found and stolen agian and again in the family history, but it always founds its way back to the family, through other people or on its own will
-beacause the sword is rummored to create any type of attack, people, especailly powerhungry deamons and humans and monsters alike tend to try to take it from Wu dei's family. its the misconception that is it can do anything
people think they can enslave others or rule the world or somthing like that with the sword, those who know of it anyways
thus the family tends to hide the sword
use it very little, and keep it hidden from the outside world
none theless, the most powerful always seem to find out about the sword one way or another
so most of wudei's ancestors have been escaping persecution for most of the written history. no exception to wudei and his family. they get chased after too.

that was an awful summary
but thats not the point
originally i was going to introduce all of my first generation characters in pairs like with the Roglathor Rosaline [link] picture
but i felt like the way i did the other pics didn't present them fully
so now i'm gonna draw them individually
i realis wu dei looks really girly
i apoligize
but i wanted to draw him enjoy some breeze outa nowhere
he's easy going and and a really thoughtful person
but thats the way he is around his family and friends
when he's not around them he has his hair up like in this pic.
but in those times he's more regeal and uptight
like someone wound up a wire inside him really tight.he has to be like that a lot of the time
this is one of the moments where he lets himself go
not yet ready to rest but taking a break
he's so cool i love drawing him

for those of you who do notice
yes, his armour is a lot like sessomaru and inupapa's armour from inuyasha
take into acount that when i started his design is it was in grade 7-8
where i was still under the heavy influence of inuyasha
but i really enjoy wu dei's character
he's quite the slacker around his friends but the most regel deamon you'd ever meet in court
he's the quy that is easy to befriend
he is comrad to many deamons, dragons, humans and magical creatures alike
his easy going character dosn't really fit his powerful demon,
close to god ( or devil) image
